76 Trombones lead the way to the Stafford Centre as award-winning Fort Bend Theatre performs one of musical theatre's most beloved and treasured stories, The Music Man, March 2nd and 3^rd at 8pm and March 4^th at 3pm. Follow “Professor" Harold Hill, a fast talking con man who plans to scam the good and naive people of River City, Iowa through a fictional marching band program. Harold, played by Houston’s talented John Gremillion, is instead ethically transformed and enchanted by the small town citizens and more specifically it’s prim and proper librarian Marian Paroo, played by the effervescent Debbie O’Donnell.  This tribute to the innocence of turn of century America and the power of true love includes such award winning songs as “Goodnight My Someone,” “Till There Was You,” and “Trouble.”Tickets range from $17 to $42 and can be purchased at the Stafford Centre Box Office, 10505 Cash Road in Stafford 10am- 4pm or online at www.fortbendtheatre.com.
